Quote from James A.Hart on June 29, 2025, 3:22 amWant to find out which keywords are driving your competitors’ sales? Here’s how to reverse-engineer their success—step by step.
First, pull up 10 of your closest competitors on Amazon. You can grab their ASINs (Amazon Standard Identification Numbers) in two ways:
- Use a tool like the Jungle Scout Extension
- Or scroll down on any product listing to the Product Information section
Once you’ve copied the 10 ASINs, paste them into Keyword Scout and hit “Search.”
What happens next? Keyword Scout will show you a complete list of top-ranking keywords these products are using to generate visibility and sales.
From here, build your own master keyword list by adding all the relevant terms to your project. These keywords are gold—you’ll use them:
- In your product listing (title, bullet points, backend)
- And later in your advertising campaigns
The result? Your product gets seen by more of the right shoppers—without having to guess which keywords actually work.
