I used to rely heavily on AI to write articles, but now I no longer use AI for writing. I mostly use it to analyze information.

I realized something: ever since I started using AI to write, my writing skills haven’t improved at all.

After AI generates the content, I just sit there editing the article — and I don’t research or analyze topics in-depth like I used to.

When I stopped digging into information, my reasoning ability also declined significantly.

So if I keep using AI to write, my writing, analysis, and reasoning skills will stagnate — possibly for the rest of my life.

I don’t like that.

Also, when I use AI to write, I get a strange feeling.
As a professional writer, it’s hard to describe precisely — but I can say this: AI-generated writing feels bland or mushy.

I still use AI for translating documents in an important project, and it does a decent job.
But when it comes to writing articles, I’ve decided not to use AI anymore.
