How to Set Up an Affiliate Campaign in BeMob

In this lesson, I’ll walk you through how to set up an affiliate campaign using BeMob as your tracking tool.

If you’re new to CPA affiliate marketing, think of BeMob as the “control center” of your entire campaign. It connects all the key components together, including:

  • The offer (from your affiliate network)
  • The landing page (the page you use to promote the offer)
  • Your traffic source (where you buy traffic)
  • The affiliate network (where you get offers and receive commissions)

Once everything is connected properly, all your data will be displayed clearly inside BeMob. This makes it much easier to analyze performance, optimize your campaigns, and improve profitability.

In simple terms, BeMob is the “brain” that helps you control everything — and the first step is to set up your traffic source correctly so the system can track accurate data from the very beginning.

Setting Up a Traffic Source in BeMob

Now let’s move on to the practical part—adding a traffic source inside BeMob. In this example, I’ll use PropellerAds, but the same process applies to most other traffic sources as well.

Here’s how to do it:

Log in to your BeMob account. From the top menu, go to Traffic Sources, then click New from Template (don’t choose “New”).

In the search box, type PropellerAds.

You’ll see multiple options based on different ad formats. PropellerAds separates its traffic into several categories, so you should select the one that matches the type of campaign you plan to run. Personally, I often use Push CPA Goal.

Some common formats you’ll see include:

  • Popunder: Used for pop traffic campaigns
  • Push Notifications: Used for Classic Push and In-Page Push ads

Why is choosing the correct format important?

If you select the wrong one, the bid values shown inside BeMob may not be accurate. This can lead to misleading data and poor optimization decisions later on.

Once you’ve selected the correct format, the next step is to configure the Postback URL so BeMob and your traffic source can exchange data accurately.

Configuring the Postback URL

Before setting up the postback URL, it’s a good idea to rename your traffic source to something short and clean so it looks better on your dashboard. For example, I usually name it: PPA: Push CPA Goal.

Now let’s move on to the postback setup.

A postback URL is the link that allows your affiliate network to notify BeMob whenever a conversion happens. Then, BeMob sends that data back to your traffic source (like PropellerAds), so the system knows which clicks are generating revenue.

Sounds a bit confusing?

Don’t worry—you don’t need to fully understand it right now. Just follow the steps, and everything will work fine.

Open your PropellerAds dashboard, go to the Tracking section, and select BeMob:

Then copy the postback URL:

Go back to BeMob and paste the postback URL here:

Finally, click Save to apply the changes.

Using Other Traffic Sources

If you’re using a different traffic source, things might look a bit more complicated at first. Well, not really complicated—the interface is different, but the process is exactly the same.

Here’s a simple method I personally use.

First, get the postback URL from your traffic source. For example:

http://ad.propellerads.com/conversion.php?aid=386875&pid=&tid=69154&visitor_id=${SUBID}&payout=${PAYOUT}

Next, copy it into a note (Notepad or anywhere convenient), and compare it with the postback URL template from BeMob. For example:

http://ad.propellerads.com/conversion.php?aid=REPLACE&pid=REPLACE&tid=REPLACE&visitor_id={externalId}&payout={payout}

When you compare the two, you’ll notice that BeMob uses the word REPLACE. As the name suggests, it means you need to replace those parts with actual values.

Now look back at the postback from your traffic source—you’ll see the corresponding parameters and IDs. All you need to do is match them and fill those values into the REPLACE fields in BeMob.

In simple terms, you’re just replacing the placeholders with the correct values.

Once you’ve completed the postback setup, BeMob and your traffic source will be able to “communicate” with each other properly.

Setting Up an Affiliate Network in BeMob

Now let’s move on to the next step—setting up your affiliate network.

Inside BeMob, go to the Affiliate Networks section. This is where you add your networks into the platform.

Once you’re there, click New from Template:

BeMob already provides pre-configured templates for many popular affiliate networks. In most cases, you just need to select one, and almost everything is filled in for you. This saves a lot of time compared to setting things up manually.

Next, copy the postback URL (save it in Notepad for later), then click Save in BeMob:

Here’s a small tip:

This template list is not just for convenience—it can also be used as a “research tool.” You can browse through different networks listed there, search them on Google, and sign up for the ones that fit your strategy.

It’s actually a very effective way to discover new affiliate networks. Some of them are exclusive and perform extremely well in specific niches.

In this example, I’ll use Golden Goose, but the process is the same for any other network.

Setting Up the Postback URL on the Affiliate Network

As mentioned in the previous lessons, a tracking system involves three key players: Affiliate Network ↔ BeMob ↔ Traffic Source. Whenever a conversion happens, the data is passed between these three.

For BeMob to know when a conversion occurs, we need to set up the postback URL. Think of it as a “direct line” where the affiliate network notifies BeMob: “Hey, there’s a new conversion—log it into the report!”

Here’s how to do it:

Take the postback URL provided by BeMob (you copied it in the previous step).

Log in to your Golden Goose account. Go to Account, find the Global Postback section, and paste the postback URL there:

If there’s an option for currency, select USD so all data is standardized, no matter which country your campaigns are running in. Then click Update to save:

That’s it—you’ve successfully connected the “direct line” between your affiliate network and BeMob. From now on, every time a conversion happens, BeMob will automatically receive and record the data in your reports.

Creating a New Offer in BeMob

Next, we need to set up the offer inside our tracking tool. In this example, I’ll use BeMob. Log in to your BeMob account, and we’ll create a new offer to prepare for running campaigns.

From the top menu, go to Offers. This is where you manage all the offers you plan to run:

Click + New:

Now it’s time to fill in the offer details.

To stay organized, you should name your offer clearly. Based on my experience, a good naming structure looks like this:

[ID] + [Country] + [Offer Name] + [Device] + [OS] + [Payout]

In other words, include all key information directly in the name so you can quickly identify it later. For example:

Next, fill in the country and select your affiliate network:

Then, in the URL field, you need to paste your offer link.

Important: you must include a ClickID token in this URL. However, if you’re using Golden Goose, they already generate it for you. Just select BeMob as your tracking tool, and it will automatically create the correct link.

Then copy that link and paste it into BeMob:

Once everything is done, click Save to complete the setup.

Creating a Second Offer Quickly Using Duplicate

After setting up your first offer, you can create a second one much faster by using the Duplicate feature.

Click Duplicate to copy all the settings from your original offer:

Then you can:

  • Rename the new offer and update its tracking link
  • Go back to Golden Goose
  • Open the second offer
  • Click Get Link to generate the tracking link
  • Copy that link and replace the old one in BeMob

All other settings—such as GEO (Philippines), format (Smart/WiFi), and affiliate network—can remain the same, since both offers share similar configurations.

This method saves a lot of time compared to creating each offer from scratch.

BeMob Free Plan Limitations

When using BeMob’s free plan, there are a few limitations you should be aware of—especially if you plan to run multiple campaigns:

  • Maximum 10 campaigns
  • Maximum 10 offers
  • Maximum 3 traffic sources
  • Maximum 3 affiliate networks

If you hit these limits, you have two main options to scale:

1. Upgrade to a paid plan
For example, the Professional plan allows:

  • 50 campaigns
  • 50 offers
  • More traffic sources and affiliate networks

2. Create a new account with a different email
This gives you more “workspace” without paying upfront.

However, keep in mind that if you do this, you’ll need to update the Postback URL in your affiliate network to match the new BeMob account.

Also remember: with the free plan, you’re limited to 10 offers. If you’re running multiple campaigns, make sure to manage your workspace—delete unused offers to free up slots and avoid hitting the limit too soon.

Setting Up a Campaign in BeMob

Alright, now let’s create a demo campaign.

Step 1:
Go to BeMob, click on Campaigns, then click New to create a new campaign:

Step 2:
Name your campaign. Make sure it’s easy to recognize. When you’re running dozens of campaigns per day, a clear naming system will save you a lot of confusion.

I usually use this format:
Offer ID + GEO + Carrier + Payout + Ad Format

For example:
Offer 125980 Philippines – Smart – 0.35 – OnClick

With this, you can immediately understand what the campaign is about just by looking at the name.

Step 3:
Select your Traffic Source. In this example, I choose PropellerAds Popunder.

Quick reminder: this is just a test campaign. It may not be profitable yet. The goal is to minimize losses and get your first conversions—this helps build momentum.

Step 4:
In the Destination section, choose Built-in Flow:

Then make sure to disable the Landing Page:

For this test campaign, we’ll send traffic directly to the offer. It’s faster and simpler, especially for beginners.

If you’re new, prioritize affiliate networks that already provide ready-made landing pages.

Step 5:
Add your offer. Click Add Offer and select your first offer:

You can also add multiple offers.

If you add more than one, BeMob will split the traffic between them. For example, a 50/50 split means each offer receives half of the traffic.

Step 6:
Click Save to create the campaign. After saving, BeMob will show your campaign details:

Step 7:
You’ll find your campaign link under Campaign URL. Copy this link—you’ll need it when setting up your ads in PropellerAds:

That’s it. You’ve successfully created a campaign in BeMob. The next step is to take this link and set up your campaign inside PropellerAds.

Conclusion

At this point, you’ve completed the full setup inside BeMob—from adding traffic sources and affiliate networks to creating and managing your offers.

It might feel a bit technical at first, but once everything is connected properly, BeMob becomes a powerful system that gives you full visibility over your campaigns. You’ll be able to track every click, every conversion, and understand exactly where your profit is coming from.

Don’t worry if you don’t fully understand every detail yet. What matters most is getting the setup done correctly. As you start running campaigns and working with real data, everything will become much clearer.

In the next lessons, we’ll move on to building campaigns and analyzing performance—this is where things start to get really interesting.
